Overview The RD1000 or RD1002 is extremely versatile piece of equipment and in order to further expand its capabilities its internal setup can be factory configured in a number of different ways. The RD1000 is a mono channel receiver – descrambler.

In a single channel configuration, the two CAM slot are automatically daisy chained. It allows supporting up to two CAS systems per incoming Transport Stream. 5.4.4 SNMP MIB Modules In order to control the unit using SNMP, the MIB modules need to be downloaded. The THOMSON specific MIB modules are displayed under the “Admin/SNMP MIB Modules” heading. The generic MIB modules can be viewed and downloaded by clicking on the “View All MIB Modules…” hyperlink. That will bring up a new window displaying all the generic MIB modules.
Up to 24 different profiles can be stored on an unit. New profiles can be added to the unit by configuring the various settings of the unit, then “saving” this profile and giving it a name. Software Updates Occasionally THOMSON will release new software for the unit to provide new features and bug fixes.
