As you can hear, Intro 3 is shorter and less complex. Using
the same system you can also listen to Intro 1 and 2 for
this style. Intro 1 is always a simple “one, two, three, four”
countdown, (ideal for practice or lessons), while Intro 2 is
a simple 1 measure intro which features only the drums.
While the style is playing, you can try the different endings
that are available. To use the endings, simply press one of
the VARIATION buttons and then quickly press ENDING.
The 4 different endings have been designed so that you
can choose the most appropriate one for the song you are
playing. The following rules apply:
ENDING 1: Finishes immediately on the first beat.
ENDING 2: Finishes within one measure.
ENDING 3: Short musical ending, (usually around 2-4 measures long)
ENDING 4: Long musical ending. (can be up to 16 measures long)
Synchro and Restart
Either side of the START/STOP button you will find the but-
tons for SYNCRO and RESTART.
These controls are both related to the START/STOP function.
The SYNCRO button is essentially provided because you only
have two hands. Sometimes you want to play your first chord
at the same time as you begin playing the melody and start
the style. This would normally require three hands so the
SYNCRO button can be used to automatically start the style
when you play your first chord on the left side of the split.Once
the SYNCRO button is switched on it will remain lit and the
style will start when you play on the left side of the split.
