In Case Of Problems - GEM genesys ensemble Owner's Manual

The instrument now begins to load the system files. During
the operation it will erase any older system files that are on
the hard disk and make a backup copy of the new files.
If the operation completes successfully, you will see the
following message.
Loading SYSTEM
Load SYSTEM Successful!
Press ENTER to START or ESCAPE to System Setup
Press ENTER and the instrument will re-start with the new
operating system files installed.

In case of problems

If the new system disk does not contain the correct files,
you will see the following message after step 4 in the above
procedure.
Error!!
SYSTEM Files Not Found!!
In this case, press ESCAPE twice and the original system
will be reloaded. If you see an error message after the
process has completed, the files on the disk may be cor-
rupted and your Genesys Ensemble will not be able to start
up. In this case, repeat the entire procedure using the origi-
nal system disk that was supplied with the instrument. The
older system will be re-loaded and the instrument will func-
tion as before. In either of the above cases, you will need
to contact your dealer or distributor to obtain a replace-
ment system disk.
