position.
6. Filltank with clean,fresh (less than30 daysold) gas.
7. Replacethe fuel line and replacefuel filter.
8. Clean, adjustgap or replaceplug(s).
9. Crank enginewith throttlein FASTposition.
10. ReplaceFuse(s)See "Fuse"in Serviceand
Maintenance section.
1. Deactivate the CHOKE.
2. Connectspark plugwire(s).
3. Replacethe fuel line;fill tank with clean,fresh
gasolineand replacefuel filter.
4. Clear ventor replacecap if damaged.
5. Drainfuel tank. Refillwith clean,fresh gasoline.
6. Replaceair cleanerpaperelementor cleanfoam
pre-cleaner, i f equipped.
Fillcrankcasewith properamountand weightof oil.
Cleangrass clippingsand debrisfrom aroundthe
engine'scoolingfins and housing.
Removesparkplug and resetthe gap.
Replacesparkplug.Set pluggap.
Replaceair cleanerelementand/orclean pre-
cleaner.
1. Tighten bladeand spindle.
2. Replaceblade.
1. Placethrottlein FAST(rabbit)position.
2. Do notmulchwhengrass is wet.
3. Mowonce at a highcuttingheight,then mowagain
at desiredheightor makea narrowercuttingswath.
4. Sharpenor replaceblade.
1. Performside-to-sidedeck adjustment.
2. Sharpenor replaceblade.
3. Checktire pressurein all four tires.
