Port Replicator

A port replicator is available as an option (CF-VEB711). This device eliminates
the hassles of having you connect/disconnect the various cables when carrying
your computer around and allows a variety of peripherals to be connected in-
cluding a headphone or microphone, etc.
The port replicator connects to the expansion bus connector on the bottom of
your computer.
For more detailed information, refer to the operation manual of the port replicator.
CAUTION
Hot/Warm Docking and Hot/Warm Undocking are not possible with the
port replicator.
A PC card in the port replicator will no longer work after the computer
enters the suspend or hibernation mode.
NOTE
When connecting the external display to the display por t on the port
replicator, the characters on the external display may be blurred if 1280 x
1024 resolution is selected.
In this case, select the resolution except 1280 x 1024.
The "Reinstalling" written in the Operating Instructions of the port replicator
(page 9) is not needed.
