1. Install the solid-state drive into the storage converter. Then, install the 4 screws to secure the solid-state
drive to the storage converter.

2. Connect the signal cable and the power cable to the solid-state drive.
3. Install the solid-state drive into the hard disk drive bay. See "Replacing the hard disk drive" on page 43.

Replacing the hard disk drive

This section provides instructions on how to replace the hard disk drive.
Note: Depending on your model type, your computer might come with a 2.5-inch solid-state drive. To install
the solid-state drive, see "Installing the solid-state drive" on page 42.
To replace the hard disk drive, do the following:
1. Turn off the computer and disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 34.
3. Remove the front bezel. See "Removing and reinstalling the front bezel" on page 34.
