• Your application may not properly
comply with TWAIN. Scan using
another application.
• Delete unnecessary files on the hard
disk and scan again.
• Exit the ScanGear in use.
• With network connection, specify the
scanner to use with IJ Network
Scanner Selector EX.
Refer to
the setting procedure.
• Delete MP Drivers, then reinstall MP
Drivers from the Setup CD-ROM or
the web page.

MP Drivers" for your model from
Home of the Online Manual for how
to delete MP Drivers.
• Turn the device off and then back on.
• Exit running applications, check that
there is sufficient free space on the
hard disk, then scan again.
