    1 Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Asanté IntraCore 3500 Series Gigabit switch. The IntraCore 3500 series include 24- and 48-port 10/100 managed switches with a variety of hardware and software options. The IntraCore 3524 is a 24-port 10/100 managed switch with sev- eral optional hardware modules.

    To mount the switch onto an equipment rack: Place the switch on a flat, stable surface. Locate a rack-mounting bracket (supplied) and place it over the mounting holes on one side of the unit. Use the screws (supplied) to se- cure the bracket (with a Phillips screwdriver).
