Recording an Audio file with the Rhythm Section
The ES8 digital piano also allows MP3 or WAV audio files to be recorded while using the Rhythm Section. This
feature can be used to produce high quality digital audio recordings with full accompaniment backing, which can
then be shared with friends and family.
1. Entering the Rhythm Section
Press the RHYTHM SECTION button.
The LED indicator for the RHYTHM SECTION button will turn on
to indicate that the Rhythm Section is in use.
Make any changes to the Rhythm Section settings (style, volume,
tempo, parts, ACC mode etc.)

2. Entering USB recorder mode, selecting the audio file format
Connect a USB memory device to the USB port.
Press the REC button, then press the MENU  button to select
the 'USB Recorder' function.
The USB Recorder screen will be shown in the LCD display.

Format = MP3
Press the  or  VALUE buttons to select the desired audio
recorder file format (MP3 or WAV).
3. Starting the audio recorder
Press a key on the keyboard, or press the PLAY/STOP button.
The LED indicators for the REC and PLAY/STOP buttons will turn

on, and recording will start with the Rhythm Section playing.
Press the PLAY/STOP button to stop the recording.
4. Naming and saving the recorded audio file
Please follow the 'Recording an Audio File' instructions on page 55 from step 4.
