Half-Pedal Adjust (cont.)
 C alibrating the right pedal of the optional double pedal
Depending on the brand and model of the double pedal connected to the ES8, it may be necessary to use the calibration function to
ensure that the right (damper) pedal's minimum and maximum range of values are detected correctly.
* This procedure is not required when using the included F-10H single pedal or the optional F-301 triple pedal unit.
Press the REC button while the Half-Pedal Adjust parameter is
shown in the LCD display.
A message will be shown in the LCD display, prompting for the
right (damper) pedal to be pressed and released.
Slowly depress the right (damper) pedal to the maximum
position, then slowly release the pedal.
Repeat this process a few times to ensure that the right (damper)
pedal's minimum and maximum range of values are detected
correctly.
Press the PLAY/STOP button to complete the right (damper)
pedal calibration.
The full range of operation for the connected right (damper)
pedal will be calculated, allowing the Half-Pedal adjust to be set
correctly.
