Battery Installation

Always turn off handset power before removing battery.
Use slot ① to lift cover off

Insert Battery

Align battery contacts with
handset pins.
Remove Battery
Lift battery out as shown.
Replace battery cover

Align Battery Cover with handset and press edges firmly until they
click. Then press each • mark on Cover.
Waterproofing Precautions
Make sure to wipe liquids off handset thoroughly before opening/
closing Battery Cover.
Do not remove/damage black rubber packing on back of Battery Cover.
Doing so may deteriorate waterproof performance.
Make sure Battery Cover (especially rubber packing area) is free of
small particles before replacing.
Close Battery Cover completely; otherwise, water leakage may occur.
Make sure External Port Cap is completely closed.
Note
Lithium-ion batteries are valuable and recyclable
resources.
Recycle used lithium-ion battery at a shop displaying
the symbol shown to the right.
To avoid fire or electric shock, do not:
- Short-circuit battery
- Disassemble battery
