Digital audio setup

• Digital output

- OFF
No signal is output from the coaxial, optical port.
- Bitstream
Select this when the DVD player is connected with a power amplifier through
optical or coaxial port. Please refer to the page 14. when a Dolby Digital DVD,
DTS DVD or MPEG DVD is played, select this, the coaxial or optical port will
output in the corresponding digital format (source code).
- LPCM
Select this when the DVD player is connected with a TV or a power amplifier
through audio cord.
• LPCM : Select 48K or 96K.
Dolby Digital setup
• DUAL MONO
This is the output mode of the L and R signals of the set audio output. If it is set to
"MIX MONO", the function only works when the DVD being played is 2.0-
channel.
- STEREO
Choose this option, the audio output should be dummy stereo signal.
- L-MONO
- R-MONO
- MIX-MONO
• DYNAMIC RANGE
Set "Off" to view a program in the dynamic
range as recorded in disc. If you hear loud
sound softer and soft sound louder, set "Full".
