Extended storage, such as for

reduce the effects of deterioration

necessary repairs should be made BEFORE
stormg the motorcycle; otherwise, LItese

by the time the
notorcycle is removed from storage.
1. Change the engine oil and filter.
2. l\{ake sure thc cool,'n8 system is filled

3: Drain the fuel tank and carburerors.
Spray thc inside of the tank wilh an
aerosol rust,inhibitins oil_
Reinslall the luei cap on the tank.

4. Remove the spark plugs and pour
a

N OTE:
* When tuming
the engine over, the
lrngine Stop Switch should be OFF
and
the spark plugs placed in their cable
caps and grounded to prevent damage to
