Chapter 5 Thunderbolt Interface Card Upgrade
Interface Card Installation
Uninstall the existing Thunderbolt Interface card in the chassis prior to installing the new Thunderbolt™ 2
Interface card.
1.
Remove the screw on top of the mounting bracket.
2.
Disconnect the 3-pin wire / power cable from the Interface card, as shown from pictures below.
3.
Gently pull the Thunderbolt Interface card out in the PCIe slot.
4.
Prepare the new Thunderbolt™ 2 Interface card (see picture below).
