partially eject the card.
The card can then be
removed by hand.

until it clicks into place.

When Inserting Batteries or Memory Cards
• Confirm that the positive (+) and negative (-) battery terminals are oriented correctly.
• Inserting a memory card upside down or backwards could damage the camera or the
memory card. Make sure that the memory card is correctly oriented.

Removing the Batteries and the Memory Card
• Before opening the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover, turn the camera off and
confirm that the power-on lamp and the monitor are
off.
• Before opening the battery-chamber/memory card slot cover, hold the camera upside
down
to
prevent the batteries from falling out.

Applicable Batteries
To use batteries other than the supplied alkaline batteries see page 14 of the User's Manual.
Rechargeable batteries cannot be used .
