select another location.
The location must be free of airborne and other
contaminants.
The ice machine will operate in an air temperature
range of 45°F to 110°F (7°C to 43°C) although the
recommended air temperature is 60°F to 100°F
(16°C to 38°C)
The ice machine will operate with water temperature
range of 45°F to 90°F (7°C to 32°C) although the
recommended water temperature range is 55°F to
80° F (13°C to 27°C).
The location must not be near heat-generating
equipment or in direct sunlight.
The location must be capable of supporting the
weight of the ice machine and a full bin of ice.

Ice Machine Heat of Rejection

*B.T.U. / Hour
Ice machines, like other refrigeration equipment, reject
heat through the condenser. It is helpful to know the
amount of heat rejected by the ice machine when sizing
the air conditioning equipment where self-contained air-
cooled ice machines are installed.
