Switching on the notebook

The power-on indicator is lit.

Back up your data and close all applications before you switch off your
device. Otherwise data might be lost.

Energy saving functions indicator
• Indicator is illuminated: The energy saving functions are activated (e.g.
reduce brightness of the screen).
• The indicator is not illuminated: The energy saving functions are
deactivated.
Working with the notebook
Fn
► Open the LCD screen.
Switching on
► Press the ON/OFF switch for about one
second to switch the notebook on.
► Shut down the operating system correctly.
Notebook
► If the notebook is not switched off
automatically, press the ON/OFF switch
for approx. five seconds.
► Close the LCD screen.
