The System Upgrade utility is a functionality built into the 3e-522AW
for future updates to the device's firmware. If a new upgrade file be-
comes available which will improve the functioning of your Access Point
or add a new capability, you will be able to download that file, find it
and upload it to the 3e-522AW at that time.
The System Logs keep a record of attempts to access the device,
which is handy for monitoring traffic and attempts at unauthorized
access and for troubleshooting.
The Factory Default button is a fallback troubleshooting function that
should only be used to reset to original settings.
The Reboot utility allows you to reboot the Gateway without chang-
ing any preset functionality.
As a final note, the 3e-522AW is intended to be an out-of-box Plug
and Play device to be installed as an AirWave-enabled Access Point. It is
not anticipated that any of the internal management screens will be
needed for normal use.
