Set up
Inserting or removing the SIM card/SD card
You must insert your SIM card to make phone calls. You do not need to
power off your phone before inserting or removing the SIM card as this
phone can support hot swap.
Before you install or remove the SIM card or microSD card, use the SIM
card tool to press the small hole on the side of the device until the SIM/
microSD tray pops out.
You will notice that the SIM/microSD slots share one tray. The SIM card
slot is the slot that is closest to the door of the tray. The microSD card
slot is the tray directly next to it. Make sure the SIM card/microSD cards fit
snugly in their slots before re-inserting the tray. The tray should slide back
in without resistance. Never use force.

Your phone only supports micro-SIM cards. Do not attempt to
insert other SIM types like mini and nano cards; otherwise this may
cause damage to your phone.
To avoid data loss and SD card damage, before removing the SD
card, please ensure that the SD card is unmounted (Settings\
Storage\Unmount SD card).
Charging the battery
Connect the battery charger to your phone and wall socket respectively,
the LED indicator will light while charging.
• Make sure the battery is correctly inserted before connecting the charger.
• When using your telephone for the first time, charge the battery fully
(approximately 3 hours).
You are advised to fully charge the battery (
indicated by a percentage displayed on screen while the phone is powered
off. The percentage increases as the phone is charged.
To reduce power consumption and energy waste when the battery
is fully charged, disconnect your charger from the plug; switch off
Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth or background-running applications when
not in use; reduce the backlight time, etc.
