1�2 Getting started 1�2�1 Set up Inserting or removing the SIM/microSD card You must insert your SIM card to make phone calls. You do not need to power off your phone before inserting or removing the SIM card as this phone supports hot swap. Your phone only supports nano-SIM cards.

1�2�3 Power off your phone Hold down the Power key until options appear, select Power off. 1�3 Home screen You can bring all the items (applications, shortcuts, folders and widgets) you love or use most frequently to your Home screen for quick access. Touch the Home key to switch to the Home screen.
Page 22 1�3�1 Using the touchscreen Touch To access an application, touch it with your finger. Long press To enter the available options for an item, long press the item. For example, select a contact in Contacts, long press this contact, an options list will appear.
Page 23 Rotate Automatically change the screen orientation from portrait to landscape by turning the phone sideways to have a better screen view. 1�3�2 Status bar From the status bar, you can view both phone status (on the right side) and notification information (on the left side). Call, Call log and Contacts �� 4�1 Call �� 4�1�1 Making a call You can launch a call by using Call. Touch the icon on the Home screen to access the Call application. Touch to enter the Touch to call contact details screen.

Page 35 4�1�3 Reverse UI on Idol4S only no call function supported Your phone features a unique Reversible UI, which ensures complete functionality. When this feature is enabled through the Settings\ Display\Reversible menu, it allows normal calls to be made or received even when the phone is held upside down. The reversed UI will appear upright and normal, even if the phone is upside down.
Page 36 4�1�4 Calling your voicemail Your voicemail is provided by your network to avoid missing calls. It works like an answering machine that you can consult at any time. Multimedia applications �� 8�1 Camera/Camcorder �� Your mobile phone is fitted with a Camera and a Camcorder for taking photos and shooting videos. Before using the Camera or Camcorder, be sure to remove the protective lens cover to avoid it affecting your picture quality. To take a photo or video, touch from the Home screen and then touch Camera.

Before using the VR goggles, make sure VR Launcher has been set up and received the necessary permissions. Follow these steps before inserting your device into the VR goggles. 1.
