Attach the needle

Attach a new needle straight onto
the rubber seal. Screw or press the
needle depending on which needle
you are using.
CAUTION!
Do not adjust the dosage or press the
injection button without the needle
attached.
Perform a safety test

Select a dosage of
2 units by turning
the dosage selector
clockwise. Remove
the outer and inner
needle cap.

Hold the pen with
the needle upright.
Remove any air
bubbles by tapping
gently on the
insulin container.

Press the injection
button all the way
down. Make sure
that insulin comes
out of the tip
of the needle
and that the
dosage
window
shows
"0".
