5-4-1. Pixel Aspect Ratio (DISTORTION)

Move the cursor over DISTORTION on the STABILIZE 2 menu, and press the menu control
knob. The DISTORTION menu as shown below opens.

Select a suitable pixel aspect ratio for input signals. If the pixel aspect ratio is not suitable, the
resulting image after rotational shake correction may be distorted, or horizontal and vertical
shake correction may be insufficient. Usually set to 4 : 3.
Set to 16 : 9 for the input of squeezed 16 : 9 signal.
To select another aspect ratio, select ADJUST that allows you to set the aspect ratio
manually using the menu control knob.

Setting Description
Allows you to select the pixel aspect ratio for input
signals.
[Setting range] 4:3, 16:9, ADJUST
ADJUST allows you to adjust between 0.80 and
1.60
[Default value] 4:3
Opens the STABIZIE 2 menu.
Returns to the main menu.
Exits menus.
