Setup and Operation (continued) Automatic Power-Off To conserve battery life, the meter automatically turns off after four minutes. To disable this feature: 1. Turn the thermometer off 2. Press the HOLD button and flip the probe open to turn the Auto Power-Off function off. 3. - Page 7 Open the battery cover on the rear of the unit and replace the two AAA batteries. Close the cover securely when finished. It is recommended that Digi-Sense products are calibrated annually to ensure proper function and accurate measure- ments; however, your quality system or regulatory body may require more frequent calibrations.
