06 Commissioning
Boost controls
The MEV Spider operates continuously
on 'Normal' setting to ensure the home is
ventilated at the appropriate level although
you can boost the system via the wired or
remote control switch, if fitted.
For remote control switches, press the
button once, the green LED will light up and
the unit will go to boost. The boost time is
set to 20 minutes as standard. When the
battery requires changing, unscrew the
switch front cover. The battery is located
on the back of the cover. Battery type - 3V
Lithium, CR2032.
To pair additional remote control units
(RC units only)
1. Insert insulated point into hole A to contact
push button
2. Press for 5 seconds until unit LED flashes,
then release
3. Press remote control button and the
green LED will light up
4. RC is now paired
