Creating and Allocating LUN Groups (Setting Host Affinity Groups)

Create a LUN group (Affinity Group) for the server to access.
Allocate the relationship between registered FC hosts (WWN) and Affinity groups using the Host Affinity set-
ting function to specify which LUNs to be accessed. This sets access restrictions to the ETERNUS DX from each
server.
If the one-to-one relationship between the WWNs and Fibre Channel cards or Converged Network Adapt-
er cards cannot be determined, the LUN mapping may not be set correctly. In this case, trying various
settings may be necessary until the server is able to recognize the ETERNUS DX logical disks.
Depending on the OS version, the server may not recognize the ETERNUS DX unless an affinity group is
assigned from LUN0. In this case, assign an affinity group starting from LUN0 in ascending order.
