8-3 TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM INDICATED BY
POWER 1. The whole

CHECK CHECKING METHOD
1. FREEZER/ Check if
REFRIGERATOR. FREEZER/REFRIGERA
TOR DOOR IS OPEN
and check display.
2. If LAMP is dim. Check visually.
3. The connection of the Check connection of
MAIN PWB CONNECTOR.

1. If the COMPRESSOR USE TEST MODE1

If less than 7 minutes

shuts off, don't press the

2. If refrigerant is leaking. Measure the amount of
frost sticking on
EVAPORATOR and the
surface temperature of
the condenser pipe.
1. If FAN MOTOR USE TEST MODE1
operates. (forced COOLING).
2. If DEFROSTING is Check the amount of frost
normal. sticking on the
EVAPORATOR .
3. If SENSOR is normal. of the Refrigerator
SENSOR.
4. Door Line contact. Check the seal when the
door is closed.

Applied voltage error. Replace
Main PWB
CONNECTOR Reconnect
connection is poor. CONNECTOR
TRANS FUSE is open. Replace
Main PWB
COMPRESSOR locked Replace OLP, PTC.
or blocked.
OLP, PTC is poor. Replace MAIN PWB.
COMPRESSOR RELAY
is poor.
THE CONNECTING Check the connection of
WIRE is poor. the black wire of the
MAIN PWB
CONNECTOR (CON3).
Refrigerant leakage. Replace the leaking part
and replace any lost
refrigerant.
FAN MOTOR is poor. Replace the FAN
MOTOR.
CONNECTING WIRE is Certify the MOTOR and
poor. the connection of the
wire of the MAIN PWB
CONNECTOR (CON4).
