Charging Temperature
Charge batteries in temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F). The device or cradle always performs battery
charging in a safe and intelligent manner. At higher temperatures (e.g. approximately +37 °C (+98 °F)) the device or
cradle may for small periods of time alternately enable and disable battery charging to keep the battery at acceptable
temperatures. The device and cradle indicates when charging is disabled due to abnormal temperatures via its LED.

USB/Ethernet Communication

The 2–Slot USB/Ethernet Cradle provides both Ethernet communication with a network and USB communication
with a host computer. Prior to using the cradle for Ethernet or USB communication. Ensure that the switch on the
USB/Ethernet module is set properly.

Ethernet LED Indicators
There are two LEDs on the USB/Ethernet Module RJ-45 connector. The green LED lights to indicate that the transfer
rate is 100 Mbps. When the LED is not lit the transfer rate is 10 Mbps. The yellow LED blinks to indicate activity, or
stays lit to indicate that a link is established. When it is not lit it indicates that there is no link.
