WARNING: Always drive and ride with your seatback upright
and the lap belt snug and low across the hips.
WARNING: Reclining the seatback can cause an occupant to
slide under the seat's safety belt, resulting in severe personal
injuries in the event of a collision.
To adjust the front seatback using
the manual recliner:
• Lift and hold the handle located
on the side of the seat.
• Lean against the seatback to
adjust it to your desired position.
You can recline the seat back or
bring it forward.
• Release the handle when the desired position has been reached.

Front seat armrest

The front seat armrest has a locking
pin which prevents the armrest from
folding down during a collision. If
the locking pin has engaged because
of a substantial jolt, but no collision
has occurred, you can disengage the
locking pin by first moving the
armrest forward until it stops to
align the hole with the locking pin,
then by pushing a small tool
through the access hole provided.
