Digital Video Recorder
Video Format:
You can select the Video Format between Auto, NTSC and PAL, according to your location. When
selecting Auto, the DVR will detect the video format from the connected video sources.
NOTE: Please don't mix the video sources like NTSC and PAL cameras at the same time. It will
cause errors in detecting the video format.
Language:
You can select a language from a down list menu. The DVR supports English, German, French, Spanish,
Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian ,Russian and Dutch.
Date Format:
You can select the Date Format from a down list menu and the DVR supports Asia (Year/Month/Date), US
(Month/Date/Year) and EURO (Date/Month/Year).
Time Zone:
The user can select whether to use DST or not, but when cities that doesn't use DST, like Seoul, is
selected, DST is forced to OFF.
If you exit from GENERAL SETUP by pressing SAVE, time is adjusted according to the GMT time slot of
the TIME ZONE selected and DST usage selection.
Date Display:
You can turn on or off the Date Display. When turning on the Date Display, your DVR will display the date
and time on the screen.
NOTE: When turning off the DATE DISPLAY, your DVR will not display the date and time
information on the screen.
Date:
You can change the date by pressing the box beside the Date heading.
Time:
You can change the time by pressing the box beside the Time heading.
NTP:
NTP reads the UTC standard time from the NTP server and sets the DVR time according to the selected
Time Zone.
pool.ntp.org is set by default but you can input other NTP servers as well.
Pressing SYNC NOW synchronizes the DVR time with the standard time.
If AUTO SYNC is on time is synchronized every day. When switching from Off to On, it must be done after
SYNC NOW is performed.
Key Tone:
You can turn on or off the internal buzzer. Whenever pressing any button on the front, the DVR will make
buzzer sound.
Unit Address:
You can set up an ID for your DVR to distinguish the unit when using multiple DVRs in the same place.
Base Camera Number:
You can set the base camera number. For example, if you set "111" on the base camera number, the
camera number on the screen will be displayed from "111".
Menu Time Out:
You can set up the menu time-out duration up to 10 minutes by highlighting the box beside MENU TIME
OUT and pressing the enter button.
You can save your changes and return to the main menu by highlighting SAVE and pressing the enter
button. Selecting CANCEL exits the screen without saving the changes.
