Fuel joint cap (F4, F6)

The fuel joint is equipped with the fuel joint
cap. WARNING! When not using a portable
fuel tank, make sure to install the fuel joint
cap. Otherwise, injury could result from strik-
ing the fuel joint accidentally.

Manual starter handle

The manual starter handle is used to crank
and start the engine.

Steering friction adjuster

Do not overtighten the steering friction ad-
ZMU06868
juster. If there is too much resistance, it
could be difficult to steer, which could re-
sult in an accident.
The steering friction adjuster provides adjust-
able resistance to the steering mechanism,
and can be set according to operator prefer-
ence. The steering friction adjuster is located
on the swivel bracket or on the port side of the
outboard motor.
