    PART 3: MAINTENANCE LEANING YOUR ALOR GAS FIRE To maintain the high performance and quality finish of your Valor fire, please follow these guidelines: • Before attempting to clean the fire, please remember to turn off the gas at the fire and the electricity at the isolating switch.
  • Page 6 REFITTING THE COALS & CERAMIC WALLS If the coals or ceramic walls are dislodged or removed, refit them as follows: Only the parts supplied with this appliance or authorised Valor replacements must be used. Never add extra coals above the number stated in this guide.
  • Page 7 Install the 7 loose coals as follows. The smooth surfaces of the coals should be at the bottom and back. Select the two largest coals Place them in the central two valleys of the front coal (See figure 9). Place two of the remaining coals in the two outer valleys of the front coal (One each side of the large coals) (See figure 10).
