IP-10S IP Phone

Introduction

The IP-10S IP Phone from Swissvoice (formally Ascom) provides a low-cost, entry-
level IP terminal for those organisations wishing to deploy an IP only telephony
solution, yet don't need to offer the functionality provided by PCS 100/200/400 to
every employee. This User Guide has been designed to help you get the most out of
your IP-10S IP Phones when used with maximser based telephone systems.

Making A Call

• Pick up the handset and dial a number e.g. 02081234567 and then press the
OK key.
• You will notice that once you start to dial a number the word Call appears in
the bottom left-hand corner of the LCD display. This area of the display is
context sensitive and as such its action/use will change as your call progresses.
The OK key is used to action the command displayed immediately above it at
that particular time.

Receiving A Call

• When receiving an incoming call the display will reflect the caller's details,
e.g;
o JOHN SMITH
• The first line in the caller display is the caller's name, the second line is the
number that they are calling from – commonly called the CLI (Calling Line
Identity).
• The system administrator must enter the names into the system for them to
show on the display.
