LCD DISPLAY OVERVIEW 1. ON/OFF INDICATOR This indicator is displayed all the time to show that the unit is plugged in and receiving power. The unit is operation when the ICE SIZE INDICATOR (7.) is on. 2. ICE FULL INDICATOR When the ice basket is full, this indicator will be displayed.
INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION OF YOUR ICE MAKER Locate the ice maker away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sun- light may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extreme cold am- bient temperatures may also cause the ice maker not to perform properly.
INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS The ice maker will automatically check the water level in the reservoir periodically and will stop the ice-making cycle when the ice maker detects any shortage of water. MANUAL FILL METHOD: The water indicator will then start flashing. Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the unit and fill the reservoir with water.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS POWER FAILURE Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of your ice maker if you minimize the number of times the ice maker cover is opened. If the power is going to be OFF for a long- er period of time, you need to take the proper steps to disconnect your appliance.
Do not use rough cloth to avoid scratching or damaging the surface of the unit. INTERIOR The Whynter IMC-491DC ice maker is equipped with a Self-Clean program that ensures your ice is clean and fresh by removing scales and impurities. This program works the same as the ice making process, only with- out the freezing.
