GRAPHIC DISPLAY — This scrolling graphic displays 4X16SP-1000BT Copper Giagbit Switch power-on and operating status information. MANAGEMENT PORT — This port is used for remote 4X16SP-1000BT Copper Giagbit Switch control with an RJ45 connector connection to the network. These connectors have integrated LEDs that display status of each port.

NETWORK PORTS 1 to 16 — These ports are RJ45 connectors used for making connection to SPAN network device connectors or In-Line taps. DAISY PORTS A to D — These ports are RJ45 connectors cabled to the next in sequence 4X16SP-1000BT switch COMMON A, COMMON B, COMMON C or COMMON D port, respectively, when connected in a daisy-chain configuration.
SN — Serial Number (SN). A number that identifies Datacom Systems electronic equipment such as the 4X16SP-1000BT Copper Giagbit Switch. MAC — Media Access Control (MAC) address, a hardware address that uniquely identifies each node (this 4X16SP-1000BT Copper Giagbit Switch) of a network.
