HIGH-SPEED PARALLEL PCI PC PLUS ADAPTER
3. Hardware Installation
Take these steps to install a High-Speed Parallel PCI
PC Plus Adapter in your computer:
1. Making sure that your PC is turned OFF and
unplugged, open its cover. (If you are unsure how
to do this, consult the PC's manual.)
2. Locate an unused 32-bit PCI slot on the PC's
motherboard. (PCI slots are usually white and are
shorter than ISA or EISA slots. If you are unsure
which of your PC's slots are PCI type, consult the
PC's manual.) Insert the Adapter in the slot,
making sure it is well seated, as shown in
Figure 3-1 below.
