Precautions for Use' Battery Charger MH-6S
t/
IMPORTANT:
The Nikon MH-65 can be used
to
recharge Nlkon EN-EL 12 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries only. It
can not
be
used with other batteries.
.
Remove the battery from the charger when charging is complete.
Charge indoors at ambient temperatures between 5 and 35 °C (41 to 95 OF).
The battery will not charge if its temperature is below 0 °C (32 OF) or above
60
°C (140 OF). Capacity may be reduced
at battery temperatures from 0 °C to 15 °C (32 OF to 59 OF) and from 45 °C to
60
°C (113 OF to 140 OF).
Remove the power cable from the power outlet when not in use.
Do not short the battery charger terminals. Failure to observe this precaution could result in overheating and dam-
age to the charger.
When in use, the charger must be kept level with the CHARGE lamp facing up.
Do not use with travel converters or adapters designed to convert from one voltage to another or with DC-to-AC
inverters. Failure to observe this precaution could damage the product or cause overheating or fire.
precautions for Use' Njkon EN-Ell 2 Rechargeable LHon Batteries
Before using the product for the first time, or before using the proouct following an extended period of disuse, recharge
the battery with the MH-65 battery charger.
Do not use the battery at ambient temperatures below 0 °C (32 OF) or above 40 °C (104 OF). Failure to observe this
precaution could damage the battery or impair its performance.
The internal temperature of the battery may rise while the battery is in use. Attempting to recharge the battery
while the internal temperature is elevated could affect battery performance, and the battery may not charge or may
charge only partially. Wait for the battery to cool before charging.
Do not attempt to recharge a fully-charged battery. Failure to observe this precaution will result in reduced battery
performance.
Do not move the MH-65 or touch the battery during charging. Failure to observe this precaution could in very rare
instances result in the MH-65 showing that charging is complete when the battery is only partially charged. Remove
and reinsert the battery to begin charging again.
In the event of malfunction, stop use immediately and take the charger to a Nikon service representative for inspection.
