Use the measuring tool to select the correct speaker unit length. Place the measuring tool on the ear, as shown. Choose the length corresponding to the size-marking on the measuring tool at the top of the ear canal opening.
Attaching the speaker unit Slide the speaker unit into the plug. Slide only in the direction of the plug. Do not force the speaker unit plug downward. When the plug is in place, give it a fi rm push.
Attaching the ear grip The ear grip should be used to obtain a more secure retention in the ear canal. It is available in one version for both left and right ears. Insert the ear grip into the slot in the receiver. Important: Pull the ear grip through the slot until the top of the grip is positioned inside the slot and pointing away from the dome, as illustrated.
Taking off the ear grip If the ear grip seems too long in the concha, you may cut/trim it to the desired length. Take care not to leave a sharp and pointy end when cutting as this can cause irritation in the ear.

Micro Molds can be made with tube-shaped vents, Micro Molds can also be used and selected in Genie as in traditional ear molds, but the length is shorter for mild and moderate high frequency hearing than standard vents. Therefore, the Micro Mold losses, where open domes are prescribed.
Attaching the Micro Mold When fi tting Delta with Micro Molds follow the instructions below: 1. Find the correct speaker unit length and attach it to the amplifi er (see Selecting speaker unit length). 2. Carefully insert the receiver into the Micro Mold and click the Micro Mold into place.

Note: Take care not to insert the speaker unit into the Micro Mold at an angle. Unless it is inserted correctly, the speaker will not lock into place. When placed correctly, you should hear the speaker snap into place with a “click”. Only a little pressure is required.
Taking off the Micro Mold The Micro Mold should not be detached from the speaker without the Micro Mold tool. When detaching the Micro Mold follow the instructions below: 1. Remove the WaxStop. 2. Place the Micro Mold in the tool as illustrated making sure that the cross in the adaptor is aligned with the tap of the tool.
