Adjusting setup items - MENU

Press and hold the multi way encoder.

Rotate the multi way encoder until the
desired menu item appears, then
press it.

Rotate the multi way encoder to select
the setting, then press it.
The setting is complete.

Push
(BACK)
down.
The display returns to normal play/reception
mode.
The following items can be set (follow the page
reference for details):
"e" indicates the default settings.

Beep
To set "on" (e) or "off."
RM (Rotary Commander)
To change the operative direction of the rotary
commander controls.
- "NORM" (e): to use the rotary commander in
the factory-set position.
- "REV": when you mount the rotary
commander on the right side of the steering
column.
Auto Off
To shut off automatically after a desired time
when the unit is turned off: "NO" (e), "30 sec,"
"30 min" or "60 min."

To set "on" (e) or "off."
Image
To set various display images.
- "Movie 1 (e) - 3": to display a movie.
- "SA 1 - 3": to display the Spectrum Analyzer.
- "Wall.P 1 - 3": to display a wallpaper.
- "off': to not display any image.
Auto Image
To set various display images.
- "All": to step repeatedly through the display
images in all display modes.
- "Movie" (e): to display a movie.
- "SA": to display the Spectrum Analyzer.
- "off': to not display any image.
Info (Information)
To display the items (depending on the source,
etc.).
- "Simple" (e): to not display any items.
- "All": to display all items.
- "Clear": to have items automatically
disappear.
Dimmer
To change the brightness of the display.
- "Auto" (e): to dim the display automatically
when you tum lights on.
- "on": to dim the display.
- "off': to deactivate the dimmer.
Illumination
To change the illumination color: "Blue" (e),
"Red" or "Green."
Auto Scroll
To scroll long displayed item automatically
when the disc/album/group/track is changed.
-"on" (e): to scroll.
- "off': to not scroll.
(::.::) Receive Mode
Local (Local seek mode)
- "off' (e): to tune normal reception.
- "on": to only tune into stations with stronger
signals.
Mono*l (Monaural mode)
To improve poor FM reception, select monaural
reception mode.
- "off' (e): to hear stereo broadcast in stereo.
- "on": to hear stereo broadcasts in monaural.
IF
- "Auto" (e): to narrow automatically the
reception frequency to eliminate noise.
- "Wide" *2: to always hear FM stereo
broadcasts in stereo and with full the
frequency signal reception.

Using optional equipment
Auxiliary audio equipment
By connecting an optional portable audio device
to the AUX input jack (stereo mini jack) on the
unit and then simply selecting the source, you
can listen on your car speakers. The volume level
is adjustable for any difference between the unit
and the portable audio device. Follow the
procedure below:
