Refilling t he o il t ank
Only if the motor is switched off and the power supply
plug is pulled out!
- Thoroughly clean the oil tank around the cap to prevent dirt
from entering the tank.
- Unscrew the tank cap (1) a nd fi ll i n c hain o il u ntil i t i s o n a
level w ith t he b ottom e dge o f t he fi ller s ocket.
- Tightly screw on the tank cap.
-­ Thoroughly r emove a ny o il t hat h as o verflown.
Important!
Before o perating t he s aw f or t he fi rst t ime, t he o il f eed s ystem
must b e c ompletely fi lled, u ntil t he c hain o il l ubricates t he c hain
and guide bar.
This procedure can take up to two minutes.
- The oil level can be controlled in the sight glass (2).
In order to ensure sufficient lubrication of the saw chain there
must always be enough oil in the tank.

Lubricating the saw chain

plug is pulled out!
To guarantee a troublefree operation of the oil pump the oil guide
groove (3) as well as the oil inlet bore in the guide bar (4) must
be cleaned in regular intervals.

oil to drip from the oil feed system, the guide bar and the chain
for a time. This does not constitute a defect!
Place the saw on a suitable surface.
