    Use your thumb or finger to pry open the cover that houses the storage card slot. To open the slot cover easier, pry it open from both ends. Flip your XV6900 so that the touch screen faces upward. Hold open the slot cover with one hand.

    Quickly pressing the POWER button turns off the display temporarily and switches your XV6900 to Sleep mode. Sleep mode suspends your XV6900 to a low power state while the display is off in order to save battery power. Your XV6900 also automatically goes into Sleep mode when you leave the device idle after a certain amount of time.

As you enter letters, XT9 analyses your keypresses and attempts to complete the word. Install the VZAccess Manager software from the provided CD onto your notebook so you can use the NationalAccess or BroadbandAccess service from Verizon Wireless to connect your notebook to the Internet.
