Sense4 - The Look and Feel
Sense4 is HTC's revamped User interface. It has
joined in a Holy Matrimony with Google's Ice Cream
Sandwich Firmware. Many believed that nothing
could be better than the pure flavour of Vanilla Ice
cream. Until now that is...
Slick and full of tricks, is the only way to describe the
experience.
Seasoned Android Users will be familiar with Add-
On Launchers such as ADW-EX, Launcher Pro and
of course GO-Launcher EX. Sense4 brings some of
the best loved attributes of these Launchers as a
stock feature.
The Home screen transition is the much loved
"Outside Cube"
As you can see in the picture (on the right) there is
an abundance of Widgets to use on the Home
Screens, of which there are seven.
With over 100 individual Widgets across 26 pages,
there is something for everyone!
Widgets are simply dragged from their position, up onto the Home screen of choice. The
Home screens are clearly positioned along the top of the Widget page.
HTC One X
"The HTC One X is a joy to behold!"
Right from the moment you pick up the
HTC One X the quality oozes from the
curvaceous lines of the Uni-body design.
The smooth gloss edges make you
caress the phone as if it were a delicate
flower.
The rounded edges of the glass give a
sense of robustness and strength worthy
of a modern Smart Phone.
The Eggshell finish to the back casing
adds warmth of touch, encapsulating the
overall tactile experience you have upon
holding the Phone for the first time.

  • Page 3 There are 8 Lockscreen styles to choose from. These include having Notifications displayed, Photos, social networks, weather and your contacts. You can also have one of HTC’s famous clocks or the latest Dow Jones! There are also 23 beautiful Wallpapers and a very generous 12 Live Wallpapers. My favourite Live Wallpaper is the Lava flow.
  • Page 4 HTC One X Camera: I’m not going to bore you with lots of meaningless numbers and facts about F/stops etc. Here’s all you need to know… 8mp Rear Camera with Face & smile detection. HD Video recording in 1080p, that’s full High Definition.

Whereas this feature was deliberately turned off on the HTC One X. I had to try and give my old phone a chance after all…! I think you’ll agree the One X has a very impressive performance.
  • Page 7 The HTC One X takes all this in its stride. Not only does it produce the same level of accuracy as some top name dedicated Sat-Nav devices but it doesn’t suffer any of the delay or slow down problems of earlier phones.
  • Page 8 As long as your PC is connected via Ethernet cable to the Internet you can use this amazing feature. • Make sure you have downloaded the latest HTC drivers to your PC or Laptop. The easiest way is to download HTC Sync. •...
