You can identify buttons and hardware on your Dynamix E210 IP Phone from figure 3.1.

Description
Headset button: Toggles the headset on or off.
When the headset is on, the light is red
Mute button: Toggles the Mute feature on or off.
When Mute is on, the light is red
Message button: Auto-dials your voice message service.
Menu button: Allows you to scroll through menus.
Basic Call Handling: press "#" send out a call by default.
