Example of iCAM50x image time stamping
If the clock on the iCAM50x has not been set, and the camera has been stored without
batteries for an extended period of time, the camera will use filenames in the format 'DSCxx'.
To resolve this issue, set the clock as described in Section2.10.
To download the pictures and audio from the camera to a PC, remove the battery cover by
turning the screw, a mini USB socket is then visible. Plug the mini USB end of the USB cable
into this socket and the other standard USB plug end into the PC.
The iCAM50x must be powered on and the green status LED must be solid before
connecting to a host operating system, otherwise the operating system will not establish
communication with the camera. Once the green LED has become solid connect the
iCAM50x via a USB cable to the host computer.

2.9.1 Windows XP

Once the iCAM50x has been connected to a machine running Windows XP, communication
will automatically be established. A "balloon" icon will show up in the taskbar stating that
"Your new hardware is installed and ready to use".
If the Windows 'Autorun' feature is enabled (it is enabled by default) a window like the one
below will be shown. By clicking on any of the listed programs and then clicking ok the files
currently on the camera will be displayed in the chosen application, by clicking cancel
nothing will open.
