- Page 9 2.1 Sensitivity/Power Switch By turning this knob to the right, you will turn the detector on. After you turn the detector on, the further you turn this knob to the right, the higher your sensitivity setting will be. WARNING! Never remove the coil cable from the control box while the Vista RG1000 is turned on.

The average battery life is about 20-25 hours. Extremely weak batteries may the reason for false signals. DeepTech strongly recommends to use 8 x 1,5 V AA Alkaline batteries. When using rechargeable batteries, we strongly recommend using batteries with more than 2000mA/H. - Page 12 2.8 Mode Trigger: 2 Tone Mode (Vista RG1000 V2 ONLY!) The Vista RG1000 V2 has a two position Mode trigger switch located on the bottom right side of the control box. How to Ground Balance The following steps will explain how to Ground Balance the Vista RG1000. This is a very simple process that allows you to balance the Vista RG 1000 to all types of soil. This is very important in order to obtain maximum sensitivity to small targets and depth. -

Tips: How to set the Vista RG1000 These tips will help to shorten the “learning curve” of the Vista RG1000. If searching in the DISC.
