SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS

1. Non-lead gasoline is recommended for the engine fuel. Gasoline is flammable and explosive.
Take extreme care when handling gasoline.

No smoking.

No flame and spark in the area around.

Engine becomes very hot in the operation. Adding the fuel until the engine is cool down
after switch off.
-
Restart the engine only after all the spillage on the machine is wrapped off.
2. Do not allow bystanders or pets to stand in front of or around the machine. This may cause
serious injury.
3. Before starting the engine.
-
The operator should be healthy and in good working condition.
-
Do not wear loose clothes or wear slippers or bare feet while operation.
-
Keep bystanders or pets at least 10m far from the machine.
-
Clear away the obstacles in the working area before operation (like wood stick, stone, iron
wire, rope, or glass).
-
Look out for trees and well in the working area.
-
Check and make sure each component is properly fixed, especially belt cover, mudguard,
and starter.
4. Keep the engine idly running about one minute after starting the engine. Lifting the tiller up and
pressing the clutch lever, the tines will be rotating. Do not put the machine down until tines stop
moving after releasing the clutch lever.
5. Do not fasten the forward lever and the reverse lever at the same time otherwise the machine
will be destroyed.
6. Do not operate the machine on a slope (more than 10º).
7. Do not add fuel more than 2/3 of the fuel tank while operating on a slope (less than 10º). Always
operate across the slop and never attempt to work up and down.
8. Check whether there are any stumbling blocks or ditches behind the operator while reversing the
tiller. Otherwise the operator may fall down or injure him or herself.
9. If any emergency happens, the operator should immediately release the clutch lever and switch
off.
10. Make sure the engine is stopped and spark plug is disconnected.
