Generator produces powerful voltage!
Only a licensed electrician can safely connect generator to existing utility hookups. Failure to isolate
generator from electrical grid can result in death to utility workers as well as others.
• When using generator as backup power, notify utility company. Use approved transfer
equipment to isolate generator from electric utility.
• Do Not operate generator while exposed to rain or other wet conditions.
• Do Not handle generator when in contact with water.
• Do Not contact bare wires or receptacles.
• Inspect all electrical cords for damage and discontinue from use any damaged or excessively
worn cords.
Do Not allow unqualified persons to operate or service generator.

engine to have a spark arrester, maintained in working order, complying to USDA Forest service standard 5100-1c or later revision. In the
state of California a spark arrester is required under section 4442 of the California Public resources code.
Unintentional sparking can result in fire or electrical shock.
WHEN TESTING FOR ENGINE SPARK
Do not check for spark with the spark plug removed.
Use approved spark plug tester.
WHEN REPAIRNG OR ADJUSTING GENERATOR
Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug and place the wire where it cannot contact spark plug.
