Press the function key  in the list of telephone contacts
The contact details » Fig. 20  are displayed.
By pressing one of the function keys in the contact details, a call can be star-
ted or one of the following functions can be selected.
The contact name can be read out by the device's generated voice

Opens the menu for sending a text message (SMS)

Start of the connection with the prefix (the symbol is displayed only with

active preset function in the settings)
Opens the menu for editing the telephone number of the contact before

dialling
Start the route guidance to the contact address (Amundsen)

Searching for a contact in the contact list

Search for a contact using the alphanumeric keypad.
Import list
Upon first connection of the main telephone with the device, the device be-
gins to download the telephone book from the telephone and from the SIM
card into the device memory. The import can take several minutes.
The device telephone book contains 2000 memory locations for imported tele-
phone contacts. Each contact can contain up to 5 telephone numbers. A maxi-
mum of 1000 contacts are imported including the image assigned to that con-
tact.
The number of contacts imported can be checked in the menu item Import
contacts » page 31, Settings. During import, the number of imported contacts
to the device memory/the number of contacts in the telephone is displayed.
If an error occurs while loading the phone book, the message Import failed.
Please try again and check whether the BT device ... allows connections.
Refresh list
Each time the telephone has established a new connection with the device,
only the relevant list will be updated.
The update can be done manually by pressing the function key Import con-
tacts » page 31, Settings.

Manage preferred contacts

Change the assigned preferred contact

In the main menu Telephone, hold the desired function key

Select the desired contact (if necessary one of the contact numbers).
Delete preferred contact

Press the key


Press the desired function key of the preferred contact and confirm the dele-
tion.
By pressing the function key  Delete all all the preferred contacts are deleted
at the same time.
