1 insert your SIM card
Your new SIM Card may already have been
inserted when you bought your phone.
If not, remove the SIM Card by carefully
pushing it out from the credit card sized
SIM carrier.
Slide your card under the metal holder on
your phone, with the gold contacts facing
downwards. Make sure that the cut off
corner of the SIM Card is in the top left.

3 Remove the battery cover and battery and
lift up the SIM C a rd holder. Insert your SIM
C a rd so that the cut off corner is at the
bottom of the holder, and the gold
contacts of the card are facing down.
4 Push the SIM C a rd holder down until it
clicks into place
Note: If you've upgraded your phone you
must insert your new SIM Card to use
Multi Media Messaging. Your Orange
phone number will not change.

1 Keep the + and - on the top of the
battery facing the + and - of the phone.
2 Slide the battery onto the contact points
and press it down until it clicks into place.
3 Slide the battery cover into place.

1 Press the release key and gently slide
the battery cover from the phone.
2 Lift the battery out of the phone.

The first charge must be for a minimum of
three hours in order to achieve optimum
performance. Subsequent charges should

is completely flat. You can
make calls while charging as
long as you have registered
with Orange, although this
may increase the time
needed to fully charge
your battery.
1 Plug your charger into a
mains socket.
2 Insert the lead into the
socket on the base of
your phone. The battery
indicator on the right-hand side of the
display will show up to seven bars
while charging. Do not remove the
battery covers while charging.
3 To remove the charger socket, pull the
lead away from the phone.
Rechargeable batteries have a limited
lifespan and Orange recommends that you
purchase a new one every year. Call the
