Protect the air cleaner,
turbocharger (if equipped) and
electric components from
damage when you use steam or
high-pressure water to clean the
engine.

If the alarm window with audible
alarm fails to display and go out
about three seconds later when
the rocker switch is pushed to
the ON position, see your
authorized Yanmar marine dealer
or distributor for service before
operating the engine.
NEVER use the Emergency Stop
switch for a normal engine
shutdown. Use this switch only
when stopping the engine
suddenly in an emergency.
Establish a periodic
maintenance plan according to
the engine application and make
sure you perform the required

impair the engine's safety and
performance characteristics,
shorten the engine's life and may
affect the warranty coverage on
your engine.
