    System Overview This electronic control system consists of the following equipment: One Yanmar i5501E Digital Display per engine Shift & Throttle Control Head Yanmar i5601E Digital Display The unit displays real-time data as well as warnings or alarms for any engine abnormality. Diagnostic codes are also displayed for use by Yanmar technicians.

This eliminates signifi cant amounts of point to point wiring and allows all information to be shared. Products from Yanmar and any other manufacturer of certifi ed NMEA 2000 product can all work on the same data bus.
